WARDEN'S COURT.

Tuesday, May 10. [Before H. A. Stratford, Esq., Warden.] 'the Court opened at 9 a.m. Jorgensen and parly applied for protection for their double area at Dunedin Flat.—Mr Barff appeared for the applicants.—The evidence of Mr Jorgensen was taken, and it was shown that the ground was flooded, and that it was impossible tu work it at present;—Spedial protection was granted up to the 25th inst; An application of Daniel Ogier for a water-race was granted. James M‘Redrnond and Patrick Moran, by their agent Mr Haiinan, applied for protection for their claim.— Protection was granted for fourteen days. In the case Of Ryan v. M'Coilichie, Mr Hannan, for plaintiff, stated that the matter was settled out of Court.— The case was entered up accordingly. Another suit, in which Mr Hannan appeared for the plaintiff, was withdrawn.
