Melbourne, June 11. It is thought probable that a division on the Reform Bill will take place on Thursday. Williams, member for Maundurang, who introduced the Bill for payment of members in the Assembly, has consented to limit the period of the operation of the measure. Government will faciltate its passage through Parliament. It is believed there is a possibility of Sir Canliffe Gwen, Mr Labilliere, barrister, and Mr Frederick Young of the Colonial Institute, being authorised in a few months to invite the Governors of Colonies and the heads of the various Colonial Governments to an assembly at Melbourhe, with a view to forming the basis of an uniform tariff and laying the foundation of Australian Confederation. June 12. Mr Service speaking at Beech worth last night, said it was possible that the Government might be defeated on the second reading of the Reform Bill, and should it happen so the only course would be to obtain another dissolution. Newcastle, June 11. All the colleries, except Wiallsend and the Co-operative, have decided to accept scale orders, and are booking them at 10s per ton. Sydney, June 11. The Wallsend and Co-operative Colleries have withdrawn their opposition to the settlement, and the strike is now ended. Price of coal is forwarded at 10s. Adelaide, June 11.
