Melbourne, June 11. It is thought probable that a division on the Reform Bill will take place on Thursday. Williams, member for Maundurang, who introduced the Bill for payment of members in the Assembly, has consented to limit the period of the operation of the measure. Government will faciltate its passage through Parliament. It is believed there is a possibility of Sir Canliffe Gwen, Mr Labilliere, barrister, and Mr Frederick Young of the Colonial Institute, being authorised in a few months to invite the Governors of Colonies and the heads of the various Colonial Governments to an assembly at Melbourhe, with a view to forming the basis of an uniform tariff and laying the foundation of Australian Confederation.
