Relative to the cheque exchange question, the Bank of New Zealand here has intimated to its customers that they will not be charged exchange ’on any cheque passed to other accounts. Napier. June 5. Hereina, the old Maori who was recently roasted to drive a devil out of him, died yesterday. His baiter awaits trial at the Supreme Court for assault, hut this will complicate matters.
