Thursday, May 20. [Before J. Mackayj Esq., Warden.] APPLICATIONS. Duncan M'Kinnon and "party appfieol for a double area of ground at Larrfc' kins. The Warden said .this was the very ground he had previously and he had refused to grant.any .double areas there. On the applicant explaining, however, that the ground thji Warden referred to was not the ground for which he was applying, the. Warden instructed the Clerk of the Court to visit the locality, and report to him on the nature of the ground applied for* when he, the Warden, would consider the application: ~ ■> P. The applicant : stated that he had been working .the ground nine months;-sind< ■ that ; during that time he had lost two lots of mates who have given .the ground up as bdpeless; btithe had now formed a fresn ' party, and they were under the'idea • ' they might yet strike the old bvook lead.
