Sittings of the Resident Magistrate’s and Warden's Courts were held this morning, before Jv-Mackay, Esq., R.M., fhe reports of which are held over. Owing to the Inconvenience that arises through persons visiting theirfriends in the hospital at all hours, we arerequested to state that in future, unless by the special order of the medical officer, no person will be. allowed admission except during the visiting hours provided in the rules of that institution, which hours are notified on a-board at the entrance-door. Herr yon Puttka turner, considering orthography a matter belonging more particularly to his own department as Minister of Public Instruction, feels, it is said, seriously aggrieved, and demands that either he should have his way or else that he should be permitted to resign his office.
