May 13. Her Majesty’s corvette Bacchante, 16 guns, which recently returned from a cruise with the Princes Albert and George of Wales has been ordered on another cruise. She will shortly proceed to Australia, and visit the various ports. Prince George, the second son of the Prince of Wales, will accompany the Bacchante on this voyage. Hartington made a speech to-day, in the course of which he said that, in view of the difficulties which would be inherited from Conservative Ministers,, the Government would be obliged to limit the number of legislative measures to be introduced during the present session.
