Melbourne, April 3. Milling oats, 27s to 28s. In consequence of short supplies, there is a good enquiry.
April 5. A meeting was held of the meat company, when a satisfactory report was read. Business continues to improve.
April 6. There is a good demand for milling oats. A cargo of Mauritius sugar has been sold at a decline of 15s for whites and 10s for yellows. Mauritius advices, dated 24th March, stated that the sugar market was firm, but little doing. Tonnage is scarce: freight, 32s 6d.
King George’s Sound, April 6. TheP. and O. Company’s s.s Siam, with the inward Sues mail, arrived here to-day.
Sydney, April 5. The revenue for the past quarter amounted to £928,481, being a decrease of £201,603 compared with last year.

Brisbane, April 6. The revenue of Queensland for the past quarter shows an increase of £30,000 compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. There has been a saving of expenditure to the extent of £29,000.
