BRITISH AND FOREIGN. London, January 12. Considerable agitation prevails in Ireland, owing to the continued ejecttnents of tenants. Several riots occurred on Friday and Saturday, resulting from conflicts between the police and the mobs. No fatalities on either side reported. Diving for bodies at the soene of the Tay disaster continues. LATEST AUSTRALIAN NEWS. Sydney, January 13. A crowded meeting was held this evening, when two thousand pounds were subscribed towards a fund for the relief of the distress in Ireland, A committee was formed to collect further subscriptions.
