MAIN STREET SPORTS.

The sports held pn the last day, of the holidays (Saturday) niay be said to have been as interesting aiid exciting as any that took place during the previous week. The wrestling especially was witnessed with the greatest satisfaction, as the play after the holds had been taken, (which, by-the-bye, with two of the competitors was a task, of extreme difficulty) was very good. The handicap race also attracted considerable attention and as the result proved the handicappeis were well up to their work.
