Auckland, December 8. A dividend is declaied at theMoanaitaiari of 2s 6d per share, absorbing £1650, making £IO,OOO distributed in mining dividend within the week. The dedication of the Loyal Newton Lodge, 1.0. T., American Constitution, took place at the Masonic Hall, Newton, by District Grand Master Lange, Invercargill, December 8, The sitting of the Supreme Court commenced to-day, before Justice Williams. The only case heard was against Patrick M'Mahon, charged with feloniously killing a horse; he was acquitted.
