The following gratifying telegram has been handed ns for publication by his Worship the Mayor ; Wellington, December 5, 2.26 p.m. To R. Blake, Esq., Mayor, Kumara. The deviation of the Hokitika and Grey mouth railway and the road from KUmara to the Terernukati blidge has been secured. [si'ECIAL TO KUMARA TIMES.] Wellington, December 5. The Committee recommend an immediate survey and the construction of the deviation of the railway through Kumara. The Government has placed LGOO on the estimates for a road to the bridge.
