A man named Kenneth Rose was arrested in the country on Thursday on a charge of forging a Bill of Exchange for £286, in Victoria in June last year. The Tuapeka Times, says C. M. Scott, teacher is about to enter actions against the Secretary of the Education Board, and all the Dunedin papers for the publication of correspondence, On a charge of falsifying the roll brought against him. Damages are laid to a considerable amount in each case.
