Warrigal ,„ 1 Sparrow ;.. ... ... ... 2 Warrigal won easily. Sweetbriar was scratched: District llAnbicap, of £2O. One and a-half miles and a distance. Bat... .;; ;;; ; 1 Kensington ..; ;.. :.. 2The Bat won easily: Native was scratched. Selling Race, of £10; One and a-half miles and a distance. Catch weights; Winner to be sold far £ls: Mr Cameron's Sweetbriar... ..; 1 Mr Jenkins'Sparrow 2 Hokitika Handicap, of £4O. One and three-quarter miles. Second horse to receive £5 ont of the stakes. Mr J. Ash ton's Doctor, aged, 7st 51b ... ... (White) 1 Mr J. Cameron's Native, 6 yrs, Bst (Barton) 2 Won easily by the Doctor, who got away first, and was never headed. Native was drawing on him slightly at the finish, but the winner was strong and full of running to the last.
