An extensive .limestone cave has been discovered hear the White Cliff's, between Westport and Reefton. The explorer describes it as a magnificent sight when illuminated. A creek tra? verses the cave yielding good payable gold prospects. . Dunedin, November 22.
At a meeting of the Otago Cricketers Association last night, the interprovihcial match with Canterbury was fixed to take place on "the lOth to 12th February. A letter was also received from the Canterbury saying that •the team to be.sent to Victoria would, if time permitted on their return, play a match at Dunedin.

It is stated that a movement is on foot for the establishment of a new land and investment company on a similar basis to the present Wellington Trust Loan and Investment Company, proposed capital £IOO,OOO. Some doubts arose about the question of "Native title."
