GOOD TEMPLARS TEA MEETING AND CONCERT.

The tea myelin? and concert to celebrate the second annirersay of the Kumara Lodge of Good Templars attractud a lanje attendance at the Public Hall last evening, and resulted most sucpessfully, TJie t-a tables were und«r the charge of the lady members of the order and other lady residents of Kumara who cheerfully lent their aid. Much credit is due to each of them for their untiring efforts to make all feel at home and spend the eveniug pleasantly. After the tables bad been cleared away the c-.ncert was proceeded wir.h, and apparently sjave general satisfaction. At the termination of the concert the local Worthy Chief Templar thnnked tho<e whi had in any way contributed to the success of the evening's amusement. He also expressed his gratifies tions at seeing so many present, and felt sure that all Good Templars -wore proud of the sympathy they meet, with in their effort to retbr'm the drinking customs of the day.
