WESTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL.
The following notices of motion relate ing to-this, district have been given to. be dealt with at the special meeting of the Westland County Council, which takes place to-monow : Mr Hitter to move, " That the resolution agreed to at meeting held on the 12th September, granting an additional £SO to the proprietors of the Dillman's Town tramway, be rescinded." Mr Bong tomove, " That the resolution moved by Mr Seddon and carried at meeting held on the 12th September, 1878, re the deviation of the Hokitika and Greymouth railway, be now cinded."Mr Seddon to move, " That the question of merging the Arahura Road Board be no.w finally considered and dealt with." Mr M'Whirter to move, "That the Engineer be instructed to lay off a pack track from Larrikin's to Mignonette Flat, in accordance with the prayer of the petition presented to the Council." Mr M'Whirter to move, "That the Engineer be requested to report to the Council on the advisability of making the alterations on the main road through Goldsborough, as suggested in the petition presented to the Council."
