HOSPITAL COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the Hospital Committee was held last evening, iu the Council Chambers, at eight o’clock. The,re were present: Messrs Todd (in the chair), Anchor, Everett, Scott, Kinm Griffiths, and Pollock. °
The minutes of the previous meeting having been vend and confirmed, °
Letters—from the Secretary to the Hokitika hospital, from the Superintendent Grey month Hospital (acknowi 1 edging receipt of cheque for £29 17s), from the Town Clerk (making a charge of 5s for meeting of Committee in Town Hall), trora Mr Kissenhardt (architect, Greymonth), and from the linden Secretary’s office, Wellington (with returned plans and 'specifications enclosed—were read and received. Ir. was proposed and carried, that Po notice he taken of Mr Riley’s claims, and that the previous resolution be adhered to.
It was resolved that the question of the supply of drugs toorit-door patients stand over for two months.
Resolved—That the Chairman consult Dr Keiran re Mollaumly’s case, and act according to advice. It was resolved that tenders he called for building the new Hospital; the Secretary to make arrangements for 1 advertising. Mr Wm. L. Richards’ name was added to the Committee, and the meet l ing adjourned.
