[to the, editor.] Sir —Permit me to remind you that at the time of Sir George Grey’s visit here, a drawing in chalk was exhibited in Seddon street, which represented the Teremakau bridge being carried up stream on the back of a person who here shall be nameless. Do not recent events justify the conclusion arrived at by the talented artist ?—I have, &c., Believer in Modern Prophecy.
