HOSPITAL COMMITTEE MEETING.
The fortnightly meeting pf the : Hospital Committee took place in the Council Chamber, on Tuesday night last, when the following gentlemen were present : • Messrs Todd (chair), Pollock, Rogers, Scott, Everett, King, Ancher, and Garguillo. The minutes of the previous meeting having been read and confirmed, correspondence from Hr. Keirah, Mr Toms, and the Secretary of Westland Hospital, was read and received.
The late Wardsman, Mr Reilly, having sent in a claim for £lO 11s., the Secretary was instructed to pay the amount, less £lO. It was moved that tenders be for the supply of drugs, provisions,- &c., for three months commencing July Ist. Resolved that the hours for admitting visitors to the Hospital be from 2 p.m. to 4 pmu, and from 7 to 8 in the evening ; the sanction of thoddctofto he obtained for visiting at fither hours; the same to be painted on a board and placed outside the Ward.
It was also proposed that the doctor be requested to appoint a time for attending, at the Hospital, upon out-door patients.
The Secretary was instructed to get all necessary articles required by the Wardsman. . "
The following amounts were handed m for annual tickets sold by the following gentlemen :—Mr Gargnillo, £lO ; Mr Everett, £1 ; Mr ’Todd, £1 j received from the Rev. Father M'Caughey, for patient (Brady), £l—total, Accounts to the amount 6F’ £33 9s 6d were passed for payment, after which the meeting adjourned for a fortnight.
