[press agency.] Christchurch, June 11. This afternoon the chancellor of the New Zealand University publicly presented diplomas of the.B. A, degree to Messrs A. C. Newton and H. Hill, the first successful candidates in Canterbury. Congratulatory speeches were made by several members of the Board of Governors of the Canterbury University.
