Thursday, May 30. [Before M. Price, Warden.'] The following parsons were proc-eded against fur currying on business without having taken.out utisiness "licences :—; S. S. Overton, barber—Dismissed, defendant having, since service of summons, token out a licence'; iMartin. Ryder, milkman—Hearing* .postponed for a week, Ryder, who is up country, not having returned home since the summons wi?s served ou his wife ; 1\ Foiey. butcher—Fined in the uoniiu.d sum of 6d. and costs; Wm. Quinn, publican—Filled 40s and costs, defendant having previously been cautioned ; Wm. Wilson, hotel keeper—Fined 20s and costs ; M. Griffiths, hotelkeepe.r— Fined 20s and oosts. A case against James Spindeler was dismissed, defendant showing that he had taken out a licence within one month of the expiry of the former oue.
