The house, as is well known, is doing a fair trade, and, when the new road being constructed from Kumara is finished, it is reasonable to expect that business will improve, and that property in Dillman's Town will considerably enhance in value. There is Five Months' License to expire, so that the winner need not spend a shilling, but enter at once into a lucrative business. Already there are 110 subscribers booked. Sweeps for tickets will lake place on Wednesday and Friday nights, and notice will appear in the Kumara Times when the Drawing takes place. The following gentlemen have kindly consented to act as a Committee:— Messrs Richmond, Foldie, Palamontein, Everett, and Conington. 1 Communications addressed to the Globe Hotel, Dillman's Town; will be promptly attended to.
