Elmslie made a statement at St. Paul’s Church last night, showing that Dr. Somerville was freed on the ap. plication of the Glasgow Evangelistic Association from the Ministerial charge of the Anderson Church, Glasgow, with the special object of enabling him to devote himself to Evangelistic'work in various parts of the world.
