It should not be forgotten that the Voters’ Lists close at the end of this month; and that it is the bounden duty of every person entitled to a vot**, and whose name is not already on the roll, to see that it is put on at once. Sir George Grey has promised us manhood suffrage, but already the qualification is so light as to be practically but one remove from it. Here and in all parts of the Colony a section of the community which—conscientiously we have no doubt—objects to the .Education Act, is using effort to make its members “roll an.” Par from blaming, we commend them for taking full advantage of a legitimate means to secure an undoubted right; and we merely mention it as an incentive to apparently less earnest electors.
