A very amusing incident occurred in Keefton on Tuesday, in Which ihe chief , actor was a Swede named Peterson. It appears that Peterson got considerably the worse of liquor, and in that condition fell head foremost down a cesspool near to Mr Crmnpton's, wheelwright. Fortunately he was seen to fall, or he would inevitably have suffocated. Mr Crumpton and his apprentices went to the rescue, amd with such a will that ■'the unfortunate man's troWse'rs were torn completely from him. Eventually lie was got out, when he presented a most lugubrious appearance.
