ANOTHER FATAL ACCIDENT.
A man named Richard Hassell who has been working by himself for some time at the Big Dam, Waimea, was smothered by a fall of earth, as it is supposed, on some day last week. He had been missed for a few days, but his absence was at first attributed t® his having gone out shooting. At length, however, his neighbours went to look for him at his usual place of work, and there noticed that a heavy fail of earth had lately taken place. A further examination led to their finding the body of Hassell, which had evidently been dead for sometime.
