TVJ OTICE is hereby given that at a I.M Special meeting of the Kawhia Council held on the 11th July, 1908, the following Special order was made:— “That Special Order made on 26tb October 1907, altering the boundaries of the Matakowhai, Te Kauri and Awarra Ridings, and abolishing the Waiharakeke and Tabaroa Ridings, and constituting the new Ridings of Kinohaku and Marokopa, be rescinded. NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Kawhia County Council, at a meeting to be held on the 22nd day of August, 1908, to make and levy, under the provisions of sections 148, 149 and 150 of “The Counties Act, 1886,” “ The Rating Act, 1894,” “ The Bating on Unimproved Value Act;, 1896,” and the amendments thereof, A GENERAL BATE of l|d in tbo £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the following ridings, viz. : The Kawhia, Matakowhai, Te Kauri, Awaroa, Waiharakeke and Tabaroa Ridings ; such rate to be for the year ending 81st March 1909, and to be payable to the collector, in one sum, at the County Office, Kawhia, un the Ist Day of September, 1908.
