Kawhia Domain.
The following notice appears in last weeks Government Gazette:—‘‘By virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the 24th section of ••The Public Reserves Act,, "1881,” I William Lee, Baron Plunket/the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and content of the Executive Council of the mid Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the Mme is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to,the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881” ; and such reserve ■hall hereafter be known as Kawhia Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.
Kawhia Domain. Kawhia County. All that area in the Auckland Land b District, containing by admeasurement * arches and 37 perches, more or less Section No. 1, Block PI, Town of Kawhia. Bounded towards the north generally by tbe Kawhia “S” Block (known as Paretos) 302 4,484.6, 108.3, 102.3, 157, 116.3, 121.1 244.9, 1145.3, and 555.1 links; towards the east by the Kawhia “K” No. 2 Block (known as Te Para), 57.2 links; towards the south generally by Rosamond Terrace. 498.5, 300, and 1500 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or loss: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57839/4, deposited in the Head Office, Department cf Lands, at Wellington and thereon edged red.”
