It is the intention of tha Govevnment to give all holders of native leases the optional tenure next session. This will encourage the district and enable farmers to farm on freehold instead of leasehold, which mhane extra cosfi* dende and progress, There are three saw mills here but not much timber. If all bad united in one good mill this would be obviated. The county have a few men on the road opposite Sobye’s and Olareon’e, forming etc.
