NATIVE LAND COURTS FOR SUBDIVISIONS.
(TO THE EDITOB.) Sia,—We who have resided io the King Country for years have bad to lend money to the unfortunate natives to pay the heavy charges of this unjust besiness. The natives should have their labd disputes settled free. Tbe Government has taken enough land from them to pay all the cost, so
why should they put them to tbe ruinous (to them) expense of having t > wait for weeks at heavy expense until tbsir case is called, and then wh«r> called be robbed of more money. The Government could well afford to have a free court until all par i ions throughout the Dominion are oom plate.—Yours, etc., G. H MACKENZIE.
