Late Telegrams.

(Special to the Settler ) New Plymouth, Thursday. In regard co the petition sent by settlers resident in portions of ibo King Country to Mr Jennings, M.P., in which they complain th a t their thirds were not expended, tbe Minister of Lands says be will make enquiries but that the difficulties which arose generally in connection with the thirds were chiefly in regard to local bodice. The settlers were entitled to information relative to monies in hand to- the credit of the various sections. The Minister of Lands will leave Hamilton for Taumaranui on tbe 28tb inst.
