(FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Hard frost most of the week with rain towards the end. Now the want ot a road is felt. On the open fern land here where the fern bas been burned the grass has taken very well. Mr Mackintosh and family have got here ’at last after many trials and hardships and all tbe settlers here extend to them a hearty welcome
