The d..try cows sold at from £6 to £8 15a for those at protit or due to calve in August; others to calve in October and November, £4 10s to £5 15s; choice heifau near profit, £5 to £5 I2s f>d ; Balls, £2 to £1 ; aged active draught geldings, £l6 to £lB 10s; buggy mare, £l3 15s ; cob, £lB ’5B; yearling foal, by loung Salisbury, £11; dog cart, £l5 ; harness £6 j spring cart, £8 10a; and other implements made fall market value. On Thr sday, 15th, at Ohaupo, we yarded 470 head of well-bred cattle, 200 of them sseers from 2 to 21 years old, also 1900 ewes in lamb and 300 hoggets, and everything sold. Fresh steers, 3to 3J years old, £5 5s to £6 ; 2to 24 do., £3 15e to £4 16s; wellgrown 18 months steers, £2 14a to £3 5s ; 2 months do., £1 13s to £2 ; strong calves, £1 4s to £1 9s ; choice heifer calves. £1 ss; empty 2-yr-old heifers. £2 5s to £3 , fresh ■ows, £2 10s to £3 18s; 1200 f.m. ewes in lamb, 14s 9d to 13s ; 400 do., 9» to 10s 6d ; hoggets, I2s 5d to 12s lOd.
