Bji,—lf a crooked up and down muddy road oa the south side of a ridge, and much longer than a p -=sibie straighter and nearer road on she north and sunny side of a straight, even ridge, is the best, then the Oparau settlers interested will concede to H. Armstrong the whip handle, but not otherwise.—Yours, etc., OPARAU bETTLER.
