NOTICE h hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Kawhia County Council held on the Twentythird day of April, 1907, it was re- - o'.ved that the Kawhia County Council make a Consolidate 1 By-Law under “Tbe Counties Act, 1886” and its amendments, “The Public Works Aot, 1905” and ail other Acts and powers whatever enabling it in that behalf, to come into force on the First day of AuguU, 1907, the object and purport of which Consolidated By Laws are as follows Definitions Pedlers and Hiwkers Traffic Over Bridges Heavy Traffic Traction Engines Molor Cars Licensed Vehicles Water Tables Lights on Vehicles Billiard Rooms The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a special Meeting of the Council io be bold at the Council Chamber, Kawbia, on Monday tbe Seventeenth day of June, 1907, at 2 p.m. A copy of the proposed Consolidated By-Law is deposited at tbe office of Council, Kawhia, where the same will lie open for publlic inspecticn during office hours until the said confirming meeting is held. Road. rpHE KAWHIA COUNTY OOUNOIL propose to raise a Loan of £5OOO for tbe term of 41 years at 4 per cent, pet annum for the forming and metalling of the above road. It is proposed to strike a rate of BJd in tbe £ on tbe unimproved value of tbe following binds abmring on tbe said road :—Sections 18, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20, Block I; Sections 8,4, 5,6, 7,8, 9 and 10, Bl'ok V ; Sections 1,2, 8 and 4, Block X ; 8 and and 4, Section 1; W. Johnson’s Block II; and on half of Sections la, Block III; la, 2,11 and 12, Block V; 8 and 4, Block VI; 2 andB, Block IX; on 2000 acres of 8.G.R., Haribari, 8,4, 5 and 9, all Kawbia South, and on ail Native L.nds adjoining the eaid road. Tbe proposed security for tbe repay, ment is to be tbe thirds accruing and the Special Rate of BJ-d in the £.
