TV’OTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Council, held on the 6th May, 1907, a resolution was passed, by way of Special Order, Striking a Special Kate of 1 11-16 d in the £ on the unimproved rateable value of the land in the Oku- | pata Road Special Rating District, to provide interest and other charges in a loan of £l5OO for Forming and Metalling the Okupata Road, the currency of such loan being a period of 41 years at 4 per cent, per annum. And it is further notified that a meeting of tkie said Council will be held on the 17th June, 1907, to confirm the said Specal Orders, a copy of which may be seen at the County Office. J. K. IVT OTICE is hereby given t&at the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under the provision of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain public work, to wit the construction of a public road to connect Kawhia and Kawhia Native Township, and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the said land is deposited in the office of the Kawhia County Council, at Kawbia, and is there open for public inspection, and that all persons affected by the execut of the said public work or by tbe takii gof the Fa id land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land, set forth tbe same in writing and send such writing within forty (40) days from the first public tion of this notice, to the K-iwbia County Council, at Kawbia.
