Native Land Commission.

On Thureday Mr Taut Wetere received the following telegram from Hone Heke, of Ngaruawabia : “R yal Commission enquiry all native lands lying idle will sit at Te Kuiti on IQth this month. Kindly let oil your people know and aek them tu be present at Te Kuiti on that date.” Agitation hag been commenced to get the Commission to come here, the reasons advanced being that there are about 100,000 acres of idle native land in the district, and that there is not a greater example of the curse of native land than what exists here.
