Kia Ora this (Friday) morning, Mr Trolove, of Aotea, landaa five rams foe use on his run, “ Papatapu.” Tho sheep are of the breed known as CorriedJa, and were purchased from a breeder at Tura kina, one of the number having re cently taken second prize at the Wanganui Show. These are the first sheep of this breed brought into tbe district and Mr Trolove is to be complimented on his enterprise, for which we hope he will bo amply rewarded by securing tbe best results. Mr Trolovo showed us some splendid samples of wool from tho flock, which last year averaged lOpbs. of wool per bead, with a lamb percencage of 180. The owner of the flock has 900 acres and last year the proceeds of the sals of wool only realised over £lOO9 I
