PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that tbe following Special Order, m;kirg a Special Rate to meet the interest and charges on a Loan of One Thousand Five Hurdred Pounds, was duly passed at a special meeting of the Council on the 21st January, 1907, viz.: That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by The Local B dies Loans Act, 1901.” the Kawbia County Council hereby resolves as follows : That for tbe purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of One Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (£ 1400) (this i< a portion c t a Loan of £12.000 for two successive years ex penditure) authorised to be raised by the Kawhia County Counci’, under the above named Ao’, for tbe purpose of providing for tbe Widening and Metalling of the Okupata toad, the said L. an to be for a period of 41 years, and that the interest to be paid is at tbe rate of 4 per centum per annum, the said Kawbia County Council hereby makes and levies a Specie 1 Rate of 111 16d in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Okupata Sptcial Rating District, oom prising: Sections 5,6, 6a, 7, 11, 12, 18, bb ck V, Pirongia West; sections, 4,6, 7, block VIII, Kawhia North; section 2c, No. Bb, and all native land abutting on said road; and half rates on sections 2 and 8, block VIII, Kawhia North, and sections 8 and 9, block 5, Pirongia We?t; and thnl such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such Loan, and shall be payable on the Ist day of July in each and every year during the currency of such Loan, being a period of 41 years, or until such Loan is fully paid off. TJUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given * that tbe following Special Order, making a Special Rate to meet the interest and other charges on a Loan of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pounds was duly passed at a Special Meeting of the Council on tbe Slat January, 1907, viz : That in pursuance and ex ercise of tbe powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” the Kawbia Coofiiy Council hereby resolves as follows: That tor the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (£2500) (this is a portion of a Loan of £12,000 for two successive years expenditure) authorised io be raised by the Kawhia County Council, under the above named Act, for the purpose of providing for Widening and Metalling the Awaroa-Mahoe road from Gray’s landing up as far as Te Toi road, the said Loan to be for a period of 41 years, and that tbe interest to be paid is at the rate of 4 per centum per annum, the said Kawbia C >unty Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rale of 2 l-10d in the £ upon tbe rateable value of all rateable property in tbe Awaroa Mahoe Special Rating District, comprising:—All those sections abutting on to tbe Awaroa-Maboe road, from Gray’s landing up to section sb, block VIII, and section 8, block VIII (inclusive), and section 8, block XI, section 8, block VII, section 4a, block VIII, section 1, block IV, section 6, block XIII, 601 acres of Crown land in block XVI, adjoining section 6, block XIII, and Hauturu West block No. 1a ; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during tbe currency of such Loan, and shall be payable on the Ist day of July in each and every year during tbe currency of such Loan, being a period of 41 years, or until such Loan is fully paid off.
