KINOHAKU BRANCH. The fol .owing business was transacted at the last meeting of the above body ■.
Letters were read from Mr Greenslade M.H.R , notifying the f*ct that possibly the Minister for Linds would visit tbe district, and that the stock reserves would be greeted and fenced. —Members thought that much g-xid would result from the visit. The business of the Kawhia Ha?, hour Railway League came up for dis eussioD, and a motion was carried to assist, au amendment against being negatived. It was also resolved to 00-eperste with the Oparau branch in bringing before Ministers tbe desirability of having the Maori lands settled quickly.
It is intended that the branch be well represented at the Union meeting in Auckland on December Ist
