(The operation was performed successfully and the patient is better, which all her friends here are very pleased to hear). Tuesday, 9th. —Kotahi arrived 'from Waitara with timber, iron and large lot of stores fcr Mr J. Willison. Kotahi sailed about 2 a.m. Thursday morhing for On*, hunga direct. Mr Williamion , s mission in Auckland is to have a larger boat built, capable of ca-rying live stock and flix. A Urge quantity of fungus aud a f«w hides were sent to Waiters the last time tbe Kotahi made the trip.
