(FROM O’'* own CSRSK'"C3TTX>t ) On Friday night last a loLg night dance (the wind up of the dancing class) was held in the Pubtie Hall, the attendance being very geoL Sapper was handed round about 11 p m., a very enjoyable dance concluding a couple of hours later. Spring this season has beeu exceptionally dry. Much needed rain fell on Saturday and Sunday nights, and the crops and grass are ujw looking greener than ever. Mr W. H. James, our loia! butcher, has sold his business to Mr Jones, of Hamilton, to whom the residents ex’ tend a hearty welcome.
