Ou Saturday evening tire usual dance was held in the public hall, and was well patronised by tbe young people, three very pleasant hours being spent by those present. The weather for tbe lash fortnight ha 4 been none 100 pleasant for the farmer. Rain has boon plentiful, also boat j fogs in tbe mornings, but very little sunshine. Farmers are now busy ploughing for oats, wheat and early potatoes. Fruit trees are starting to show bloom and leaves, and the willow trees aro getting quite greon, telling us that spring is hero and it is time to be up and doing to get ready for early crops.
