KAWHIA COUNTY. “THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1901,” AND THE AMENDMENTS THEREOF. Proposed Loan for the Widening and Metalling of the Waitetuna-Aotea Rd THE Kawhia County Council propose to RAISE A LOAN of £lOOO for the term of 44 years at 4 per cent, per annum, for the Waite-tuna-Aotea Road, from junction of roads section 1, block X, to section 2, block XI. It is proposed to strike a rate of 2|d in the £ on the unimproved value of the following lands abutting on the said road : Sections 1,2, 8,4, 5,6, and 7, block X, sections 1,2 and 4, block XI, Waitetuna-Aotea. The proposed security for the repayment of such loan to be the thirds accruing. and the special rate of 2|d in the £. THE Kawhia County Council propose to RAISE A LOAN of £2500 for the term of 44 years at 4 per cent, per annum, for the undermentioned works :—£2850 for widening and metalling the Awaroa Mahoe Road from Gray’s landing up as far ae the To Toi road. £lOO for forming the Kaimunga road from its junction with bhe Awaroa-Mahoe road towards section 6, block XIII. £5O for forming the Te Toi road from its junction with the Awaroa.Mahoe road towards section 4a, block VII. It is proposed to strike a cate of 2 11 Od in the £ on the unimproved value over the following lands as security for interest and sinking fund on the said loans : —All those sections abutting on to the Awaroa • Mahno road, from Gray’s landing np to section sn, block VIII, and section 8, block VIII (inclusive), and section 8. block XI, section 8, block VII, section 4a, block VIII, section 1, block IV, section 6, block XIII, 601 acres of Crown land in block XVI, adjoining section 6, block Kill, and Hautnru West block No. la. The proposed security for the repayment of such loan to be tho thirds ac cruing, and the special rate of 2 1-lOd in the £.
