Proposed Loan for the Widening and Metalling of the Okupata Road. rriHE Kawhia County Council proX pose to RAISE A LOAN of £1750 for tbe term of 44 years at 4 per ceut. per annum, for the Okupata Road. It is proposed to Strike a Rate of l£d in the £ on tjae unimproved value of the following lands abutting on the said road : —Sections 5,6, 6a, 7, 8,9, 11, 12, 13, Biock V, Pirongia Wes‘, sections 4,6, 7, block VIII, Kawhia North, and half rates on sections 2 and 3, block VIII, Kawhia North, and on T. Anderson’s native lease and all native land adj lining the road. The proposed security for tbe repayment is to be the thirds accruing and tbe special rate of 1 7 8d in the £. It is proposed to strike a rate of 1 11-16 d in the £ on the unimproved value of the following lands abutting on the said road :—Sections 1,2 and 3, block I, Pirongia West, sections 1 and 2, block IV, Kawhia North, section 1, block VIII, sections 1,2, 8,4, block V, Pirongia West ; and half rates on sections 2 and 3, block VIII. THE Kawhia County Council propose to RAISE A LOAN of £5OOO for a term of 41 years at 4 per cent per annum, for widening and metalling the Mahoanui Kawhia Road, from Limon Point to the Marakopa* River. It is proposed to strike a rate of 3fd in the £ on the unimproved value over the following lands as se curily for interest and sinking fund on the p oposed lo n :—A 1 those sections abutting the said Mahoenui-Kawhia Road fr m Lemon Point to where tbe Mahoenui-Kawhia R ad crosses the Marakopa River, and a rate of 1 13 16d in the £ on sections 21, 22, 23, block I, sectii n la, block 111, sections la, 2, 11. 12, block V, sections 4,3, block VI, sections 2,3, bl ck IX, section 8, block X.
