A petition is being signed by all the settlers here, k» try and get the Government to open tbe Ngatunai road, as it saves one day’s journey in driving cattle from Pirongia, and would be the main Kawhia overland outlet. It as a much easier road, and saves at least 10 miles, although th< Government officials do not think so much.
