Crown Lands.
A notice in last week’s Government Gozette announces that the following local section has revetted to the Crown ;—Section 5, block XVI, Kawhia North, L.1.P., formerly hjld by C. E. Berryman. On the 25th of April several section* in thia district will be thrown open under the optional tenure. In the Maungamaugero district Waitomo County, there are three sections, tho acreage being 190 acres 3 roods, 216 acre* 2 roods 3 perchee and 195 acres 2 roods 10 perches, and io tbe same district, Awakino County, a lection containing 640 acres. In the district of Pirongia, Waitomo County, 313 acres 1 rood 17 perches, 2j miles from Te Rau-a-moa! are also offered, whilst in the Awukiuo County, Wbareoriuo district, a section of 519 acres 2 roods will be also available. No doabt, as uiiual with land open for selection in this district, there will, be a keen demand.
