DIVERTING WHARF TRUST MONEY.

(to the editor.) Sir, —According to your account of the last meeting of the Kawhia County Council, Crs Jonathan and M'Cardle are trying to divert wharf trust money to make a road. Wait until next election of County Council members. They are not at all selfish, but they want a lot. Why are all the members not farmers and of sufficient intelligence to have come to the conclusion that we, the farmers, who keep Kawhia, want a derrick to handle our goods, and also a shed fer produce.—Yours, etc., OPARAU SETTLER,
