TELE CHARGES OF IMPROPER PAYMENT. (By Telegraph.) Wellington, Thursday, 4.55 p.m. The New Liberals still persist in the charge of improper payments made to Captain Seddon, and Mr Fisher endeavoured yesterday to obtain an enquiry as to the affidavits from Servants which he referred to the Speaker in a sealed envelope, to be opened by a special committee which he asked the House to set up to investigate the matter of indemnity to be given, allowing his informants to speak freely.
