(from our own correspondent.) During the week an extraordinarily Jarge meteqr from O^arau v almost as large as a comet, which sent our brilliant sparks as it travelled from east to west. Bush felling is in full swing. Mr Anderson has started falling the bush on his section in the unsurveyed block. Disc harrowed fern land will be sown in September, which will prove the merits of spring sowing in lieu of ! autumn sqwing and disc harrowing oyer ploughing.
